Alessandra Miceli, MS

Clinical Extern

I am a clinical extern at Growing Minds Psychology providing both treatment and neuropsychology services. I am an enthusiastic learner and am passionate about providing evidence-based services to children, adolescents, and families to improve their quality of life. I enjoy building relationships with those that I work with and always bring a warm smile, an open mind, and a sense of humor to every session. As a doctoral student in St. John’s University School Psychology PsyD program, I have received training in both school and clinical psychology. I have learned the importance of tailoring all interventions, assessments, and treatment plans to the individual to fit their unique strengths and weaknesses. I work hard to help build the individual’s self-confidence and to teach them the tools that they need to advocate for themselves. As a result of my experiences working in both school and outpatient settings, I understand the importance of collaborative work with caregivers, schools, and other related services or providers. I work hard to provide comprehensive care to each child and family to help them achieve their goals.

In my free time, I enjoy attending sporting events (Go Yankees and Rangers!), spending time with my friends and family, reading, and traveling.
