Katrina Kirchgaesser, PsyD

Clinical Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellow

I am completing a neuropsychology postdoctoral fellowship at Growing Minds. As a clinician at Growing Minds, I provide comprehensive neuropsychological and educational evaluations. I strive for my evaluations to be full-scope insights into clients’ lives that incorporate their cultural background, social environment, academic history, and, most importantly, their parent’s insights. With my recommendations, I embrace multidisciplinary interventions that truly target the support the child needs.

My previous experiences have given me an intimate understanding of school systems, IEPs, and psychoeducational evaluations. These experiences have not only solidified my knowledge but also ignited a deep passion for educational advocacy. I am committed to ensuring that all children receive the academic services they are entitled to and empowering parents by providing them with the tools to become educational advocates themselves. This commitment led me to join the Growing Minds team.

Outside of Growing Minds, I enjoy reading, watching crime thrillers with my husband, and needlepointing.
